Known by the uninitiated as the ‘Beerfest’ this event has been held for over 170 years.
Originally a wedding celebration for the Crown Prince Ludwig and his bride Princess Theressa, it has grown to become the biggest public festival in the world and is visited annually by over six million people.
There is nothing quite like the sensation you get on entering a ‘Beerhall’ for the first time. With 12 major halls to choose from, each with their own distinctive style of music blaring from the brass band on stage, you have plenty to fill the days.
Again, Festival Adventures are there for the full 16 days of the festival, which traditionally finishes on the first Sunday in October. Join us at any time during the festival and choose from our wide selection of Tours and Hotel/Camping packages to suit your needs.
